Warranty Information

Effective date: 22 July 2026

1. Our Commitment

DC2AC is committed to supplying quality Products and supporting Customers throughout the warranty process.

Depending on the Product, warranty coverage may be provided by the manufacturer, DC2AC or both ("Applicable Warranty").

The Applicable Warranty is additional to, and does not replace, any statutory rights available under applicable law.

2. Before Making a Warranty Claim

Most issues reported after installation are related to:

  • installation;
  • commissioning;
  • configuration;
  • firmware;
  • operating settings; or
  • system integration,

rather than a manufacturing defect.

Where a Product has been professionally installed, the Customer should normally contact the installer first.

The installer is usually best placed to determine whether the issue relates to:

  • installation;
  • configuration;
  • firmware;
  • system settings; or
  • the Product itself.

3. If You Need to Contact DC2AC

If an installation or configuration issue has been reasonably excluded and a Product fault remains suspected, please contact DC2AC.

To help us investigate, we may request:

  • proof of purchase;
  • Product model;
  • serial number;
  • installation date;
  • installer details;
  • commissioning records;
  • photographs or videos;
  • fault codes or screenshots; and
  • a description of the issue.

Providing complete information helps us resolve claims more efficiently.

4. Warranty Process

Depending on the Product and the nature of the issue, the warranty process may include:

  1. Initial review of the information provided.
  2. Remote troubleshooting. Installer verification (where applicable).
  3. Manufacturer consultation.
  4. Repair, replacement or another remedy available under the Applicable Warranty.

Please do not dismantle, modify, repair or return Products without prior authorisation from DC2AC or the manufacturer.

5. No Fault Found

Where a Product returned for assessment is found not to have a fault covered by the Applicable Warranty, DC2AC reserves the right, where permitted by applicable law, to recover reasonable costs associated with:

  • inspection;
  • testing;
  • transportation;
  • storage; and
  • administration.

Where reasonably practicable, the assessment outcome will be explained before any such costs are sought.

6. What May Affect Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage may be affected where Products have been:

  • installed by persons who are not suitably qualified where professional installation is required;
  • incorrectly installed or commissioned;
  • modified without authorisation;
  • repaired by unauthorised persons;
  • operated outside the manufacturer's specifications;
  • damaged through misuse, neglect or accident;
  • stored outside the manufacturer's recommended conditions; or
  • used with incompatible third-party equipment where compatibility issues result.

The Applicable Warranty for the Product always takes precedence.

7. Firmware

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, firmware and software updates following delivery are the responsibility of the Customer or the person responsible for commissioning and maintaining the Product.

DC2AC does not guarantee that Products will contain the latest firmware available at the time of installation, as firmware may change after dispatch.

8. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Warranty Information limits or excludes any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where applicable, Consumer rights relating to Products that do not conform to the contract remain unaffected.
