Shipping Information
Effective date: 22 July 2026
1. Where We Deliver
Products may be dispatched from a DC2AC warehouse, manufacturer, fulfilment provider or other authorised location.
Available destinations and delivery options are shown during checkout or stated in the quotation or Order Confirmation.
International website Orders may be limited to selected destinations. Other international sales may be handled by direct quotation.
2. Delivery Charges and Taxes
Delivery charges are shown before an online Order is completed or stated in the quotation.
For international deliveries, the Order Confirmation will state, where practicable, whether duties, import taxes and customs charges are included. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Customer is responsible for charges imposed in the destination country.
3. Delivery Dates
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Availability, pallet freight, carrier capacity, customs, port operations, manufacturers and other matters outside our control may affect delivery. We will communicate material delays where reasonably practicable.
4. Delivery Information and Access
Customers must provide accurate:
- delivery address and postcode;
- contact name and telephone number;
- access restrictions;
- unloading requirements; and
- other special instructions.
Battery and inverter Products may be heavy, palletised or require appropriate unloading facilities.
Additional costs caused by inaccurate information, restricted access, failed delivery, refusal of delivery, Customer-requested delay, storage or redelivery may be charged to the Customer.
5. Installation Timing
DC2AC supplies Products and is not responsible for coordinating installation unless expressly agreed in writing.
Products may be dispatched in accordance with the Order Confirmation even if the Customer or the Customer's installer postpones the installation date.
Where installation is delayed after delivery, the Customer is responsible for ensuring that the Products are:
- stored safely and securely;
- handled in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions;
- protected against loss, theft or damage; and
- stored within any environmental conditions specified by the manufacturer.
Once risk has passed in accordance with the Terms & Conditions, DC2AC is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during storage before installation.
6. Inspection on Delivery
You should inspect the Products as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery or collection.
If there is visible transit damage, a shortage or an incorrect Product, please:
- record the issue on the carrier's delivery documentation where possible;
- take photographs of the packaging, Product and labels where appropriate; and
- notify DC2AC without undue delay.
Prompt notification helps us investigate transport-related issues and recover claims from carriers where applicable. It does not affect any statutory rights you may have.
Do not install or commission any Product that appears damaged in transit until DC2AC or the relevant manufacturer has advised how to proceed.
7. Risk and Ownership
For Consumer Customers, risk in the Products normally passes when the Consumer, or a person identified by the Consumer, takes physical possession of the Products, subject to applicable law.
For Business Customers, risk passes in accordance with the agreed delivery or collection terms.
Once risk has passed, the Customer is responsible for the Products, including their safe handling, storage, security and protection against loss, theft or damage.
Ownership of the Products may remain with DC2AC until full payment has been received in accordance with the Terms & Conditions. The retention of ownership does not affect the transfer of risk.
For full details, please refer to the Terms & Conditions.
