This Policy applies when you visit our websites, purchase Products or services, request a quotation, use a Decision Support Tool, create an account, contact us or otherwise interact with DC2AC.

2. Personal Data We Collect

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:

  • identity and contact data, such as your name, company, role, email, telephone number, billing address and delivery address;
  • account data, login details and preferences;
  • quotation, Order, invoice, warranty, support and transaction records;
  • payment status and limited payment-related information, although full card details are normally processed by independent payment providers;
  • information entered into Decision Support Tools, including property, energy-use, equipment and intended-use information;
  • communications, enquiries, feedback and support records;
  • technical data, including IP address, browser, device, operating system, cookie identifiers and website usage;
  • marketing preferences; and
  • information received from payment providers, marketplaces, delivery partners, manufacturers, installers or other service providers where necessary for a transaction or support request.

Please do not provide personal data about another person unless you are authorised to do so.

3. How We Use Personal Data

We may use personal data to:

  • provide quotations, Products, services and Product Guidance;
  • process, fulfil and manage Orders, deliveries, returns, warranties and payments;
  • operate Customer accounts and Decision Support Tools;
  • respond to enquiries and provide support;
  • communicate service, safety, Product or Order information;
  • prevent fraud, secure our systems and investigate misuse;
  • maintain business, tax, accounting, compliance and dispute records;
  • improve our website, Products, services and Customer experience;
  • conduct analytics;
  • administer surveys, promotions or events; and
  • send marketing where permitted by law.

  • performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract;

Under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, we collect, use and disclose personal data for notified purposes and on an applicable legal basis, including consent or an available statutory exception.

5. Marketing

We may send marketing where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.

You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing message or by contacting us. Service, safety, warranty and Order communications are not marketing and may still be sent where necessary.

6. Sharing Personal Data

We do not sell personal data.

  • payment, financing and fraud-prevention providers;
  • warehouses, carriers, couriers and customs agents;
  • marketplaces through which an Order is placed;

DC2AC is incorporated in Singapore and uses service providers that may process data in the United Kingdom, Singapore, the European Economic Area and other countries.

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including Order fulfilment, warranty support, legal, tax and accounting obligations, dispute resolution, security and enforcement.

Retention periods vary according to the type of record, legal requirements and warranty or limitation periods. Data may be anonymised where it is no longer needed in identifiable form.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping Customer account credentials confidential and notifying us of suspected misuse.

  • correct inaccurate data;
  • request deletion;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • receive portable data;
  • withdraw consent;
  • object to direct marketing; and
  • complain to a data-protection authority.

UK individuals may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. EU individuals may complain to the supervisory authority in their country. Singapore individuals may raise concerns with the Personal Data Protection Commission.

11. Automated Tools and Decisions

Decision Support Tools may generate indicative outputs using information provided by you and rules, models or systems used by DC2AC.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these tools support rather than make legally significant decisions. You may contact us to discuss an output or request human assistance.

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Where required, non-essential cookies are used only after consent.

13. Children

Our Products and services are intended for adults and Business Customers. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data where parental consent would be required.
